Really, what happened? Where did the proverbial time go? As I try to scroll back through the pages of my memory I find they are jumbled, out of order, scrambled – as if I dropped the whole lot on the floor, then hurriedly picked them up, put them back without ever taking the time to put them back into order. So many random memories that I must have crammed plenty into the last 48 years. Perhaps that is why the time has flown by so fast that I didnt even stop to consider it at 40 – the traditional age, I believe, for a mid-life crisis.
