Thursday 23rd August, 153 miles, baking hot!!
Managed to leave before 10am for the second time this trip!! The incentive was to get some driving done before it got too unbearable again. Object achieved – we only switched the cab fans on after the first 2 hours when the temperature reached 34 degrees.
Arrived at Mazarron early afternoon and picked a nice quiet pitch with few neighbours although assuming that the yappy baby Doberman would calm down was somewhat optimistic. Then a couple of hours later 4 caravans arrived in a group and pitched up next to and opposite us. The collective families from hell. They are so bad that the mothers’ screaming at the kids is worse than the kids themselves. They also walk all over our pitch, and even though the pitches are the largest we have seen they are not apparently big enough. Their cars are in a free one the other side of us and their washing strung across the empty one to the beach side of us.
This is a lovely, well looked after campsite totally spoilt by the occupants. What’s the Spanish for Chav?
